Nothing So Vitalizing As An Early Walk In Nature.

 Nature being in Burgenland...bonus!

This morning the weather gods aligned to make a perfect Burgenland day.

A strip of gold at the end of the road... The yellow Raps is in full bloom.

Those few tall trees in the distance could almost make one believe that we are in the Toscana...

Nature does make the most perfect frame on and for anything.

Our Eisenberg lingering in the background looking mightily attractive and proving once again why this is such a fabulous place to live in...

Bits & Bobs Of Eisenberg.

 A morning walk...

The yellow blossom do cheer up any landscape and this one even more so.

Under the watchful eyes of a couple of feline guards.

There is just something so magical about a morning awakening and lighting up the day ahead.

A smokey scene! Always the church in the middle of life and village. Regal but somewhat comforting in its role as a beacon of continuity.

Towards the end of my walk the morning is in proper swing. The rain clouds did move in slowly yet surely but in the meantime the valley of Eisenberg looks pretty as a picture.

Upper and lower Eisenberg separated by the glorious vineyards which are the quintessence of it...

A fitting curtain call to Eisenberg and a sunny day.

A Cold And Grey Winter's Morning.

 Still very beautiful.

The leaves have dropped and the branches correctly depict the time of the year. The leaves are so dry that even a lightweight touch of a bird's foot makes a sound as though a giant is walking past.

The various Kellerstöckels lining the scenic edge of the Deutsch Schützen forest. More and more Kellerstöckels are being converted into year round homes and sadly the authentic feel is being lost, one rebuild at a time.

The forest and its refreshing spots of colour. Moss is abundant and enhances any winter's walk.

The hunter's lookout or as I like to call it, Burgenland's tiny house, stands between the forest and vineyard, surveying its realm.

Some more moss among the rustling leaves.

A great collage of both vineyards...Deutsch Schützen in the foreground and Eisenberg lording it high and mighty in the background....

A Tree, A Chapel And Some Sunflowers.

 A stunning morning in Burgenland.

The magical tree standing tall and protective over a local chapel. Magnificent and awe inspiring. A village in Hungary in the background.

A set of sunflowers defying the trend of fading away after summer. This lot is just down the road and this morning while I took these photos a local resident, a little fox terrier, came running out in vociferal glory, trying to find out what I was doing...

It almost feels as if the colours for the chapel were chosen in autumn. A beautiful bit of blending and coordinating...

A cheeky lot, aren't they?

The chapel facing Eisenberg. Always divine in nature and exterior...

These sunflowers lifted my spirits this morning and one can understand why...a ray of sunshine that all of us need now and again...

Morning In Eisenberg.

Nature awakens...

The fog seems permanent although it portends another magical and sunny day ahead. Much needed for vines and souls.

Standing tall and proud, guarding the entrance to Eisenberg Weinberg.

A main attraction in the middle of a local field. A hidden gem.

Walking into sunshine and opportunities.

Sunlight illuminates the wonders of nature, chlorophyll of leaves...

The local church in monotones; three shades of grey....!

A Stunning And Magical Sunrise In Eisenberg.

Early bird does catch the worm...

Maxi wasn't feeling too well and thus couldn't go on his long morning excursion which meant that I was on the road that much earlier and had an opportunity to be a part of a spectacular sunrise.

The branches of this tree almost look like they are holding hands while reflecting on the beauty of this sunrise.

The vibrant colours are really only seen for a very short while. Sometimes a matter of minutes before the vibrancy dissipates.

A sunrise does look so much more attractive when it is measured against a mountain, lake, animal or in this case, the merry branches of a huge tree.

About a hundred meters further I got a glimpse of the awakening sun getting ready for the day. Nature never ceases to amaze and surprise me.

What a privilege to be able to witness this magic provided by Mother Nature...

Wild & Beautiful.

A bit more of Eisenberg's stunning nature.

The magic of lavender. A paradise for bees and a good omen for a good harvest to come.

Pink roses complementing the purple lavender. A feast for the senses and a feast for the eyes.

The more rustic side of rural life. Nature has a way of complementing various wildflowers and thus creating pockets of pulchritude.

These delicate floral bloomers always make me think of crochet table decorations, tea and cake! Very English, don't you think?

An enchanting rural path. Isn't that what we all think about when we hear countryside? A romantic path to meander and to ponder. Vintage rural, vintage village and vintage lifestyle...

Burgenland, Eisenberg, Paradise.

 Landscapes of choice, my choice.

A stunning morning paying homage to this wonderful place we call our home.

Deutsch Schützen at its best...

Looking from above the various fields resemble a chess board of sorts. This is why I love walking very early in the morning! Hardly anyone's astir and everything is pristine.

The fields are hued in a healthy shade of green somehow belying the fact that we are experiencing a heat wave with hardly any rain.

Finally, the main road to this paradise we call home. Seeing it from so far above it makes me realize how well created it is. A slightly curvy road is much nicer than a straight boring one....

Lilacs Adding A Touch Of Grace, Beauty & Perfume.

 Purples and pink everywhere.

Well, this one's white and I am not quite sure if it belongs to the lilac family but regardless, enough to bring forth a smile.

Ah, here we go. Doesn't the one on the right remind you of a heart? This particular shrub of lilacs is on the upper Eisenberg and as I was busy snapping away the owner came out and we had a long chat. Flowers do have a tendency to bring forth cheerfulness and happiness.

A big bee or perhaps bug is busy gorging itself on the sweet tasting nectar of this lilac flower. Intricate and interesting.

The three buddies hanging out together sunning themselves in the early morning sunshine and enjoying their break from hibernation.

If only you could see these magical shrubs. One can't help but stop to take note of them or in my case, take a photo of them. These shrubs are all on the upper Weinberg road and it makes me wonder if the clearer and cleaner air helps to make them grow so prolifically and beautifully.

As I said to someone who I met on my walk this morning; I look forward to each and every day and am jolly grateful to be able to live it...
