An Different Christmas This Year.

A sunny start to the 24th of December.

The sun was just about to show itself as I was walking behind Eisenberg's church, casting that magical spell that only an early morning can hold.
The clouds formed into an awesome shape and promised a spectacular Christmas ahead. A day filled with promise and expectations.
Along the path a shrub that I like to call ' popcorn shrub ' because these white balls do look good enough to eat.
The forest seems to refuse to let the sun do its thing. Never mind, a certain mystique ensues when mist and fog are the mainstay.
A lovely and soft bed of moss upon which leaves like to recline and shine.
Towards the end of my walk I encountered a troupe of deer jumping gracefully alongside a thankfully empty road.
Snow at Christmas is out of the question especially when you see the vibrant colour of a nature that might have escaped the clutches of a cold winter...
