A New Norm.

Habits, there to be broken.

Another exciting F1 Grand Prix today and I only say this because nobody was hurt, it had a few accidents and run offs. That is what keeps us glued to the screen after all, because watching perfect racing isn't that much fun for us, the spectators.

Thankfully they can race in these trying times and I think  they were the first lot to start up again after our first encounter with the virus. They do it in a proverbial bubble and with hardly any spectators. Admittedly, the first time I saw them race around a bare course ( amazing how we take the colourful facade of people sitting in the tribunes for granted ) it took some getting used to. Wasn't sure if I actually wanted to watch  but then, after a few laps, I got used to it.

Now, it almost seems the new norm and okay. Goes to show how we as humans can adapt to any situation if we have and want to. There are so many areas in our lives that we can approach with a different mindset and learn to adjust.

Often we are mostly scared of change because of changes sake but not for what's in store. Somehow once we have created our patterns we are loathe to adjust or ditch them, feeling secure in the motion of a habit.

Corona has shown us that life can be changed and that we have the strength to do so. Okay, at time we have to be nudge along but regardless, a change might be just what the doctor ordered...
