A new era is on the way...
At the moment we are too scared to turn on the telly. Imagine if they announce a further four years? Not that I live there but the actions not taken affect all of us. Climate action that is. Doesn't bear thinking about and come to think of it, what could or would have happened if back in 2000 Al Gore had taken the helm?
Granted, all the international news channels have to show continuous coverage of the election but now, even the Austrian news lot are doing a 24/7 coverage. Enough already. Just bring us the results and let's have some normal news for a change.
Personally, I firmly see Biden winning but last time I looked, they hinted at a result being weeks away. Fair enough, but can you put on something else?
Should there happen to be another four years of the status quo, Bob and I will perhaps cease watching CNN, because these last four years of daily politics has been utterly exhausting. Day in, day out. Not that it isn't entertaining, but at some point enough is enough. Sanity should prevail.
This election almost equates to that famous fork in the road of humanity. It is worth praying over to ensure that we as a people chose the right turn and get started on healing and repairing our planet, not to mention our psyche.
