A Divinely Colourful Friday Morning In Burgenland.

Most beauty is found early in the morning...

I was walking this way by pure chance as I had heard a some tree felling happening on my usual route. Wouldn't do to have a log fall atop of me. But what a stunning reward nature has provided. Colours to gladden the heart.
A vista rather unique to rural Burgenland. Open spaces and plays of light.
A restive season for the vines...time to devour last year's vintages.
Straw bales dotting the landscape and I have to say, from a distance they did look like a parked car!
Again a church spire is peaking out behind a bunch of trees. One can almost smell the snow that is supposed to visit us next week. A special air prepares the way...
