A new day, a new start.
The mist was rising after yesterday's incessant rain and thereby leaving a stunning panorama to enjoy.
Yesterday was indeed a day of rain but also a day the birds enjoyed beyond a doubt.
Parts of our vineyards bathed in glorious morning sunshine and stillness.
An elaborate and rather intricate spider's web enjoying penthouse views amid a field of soy.
...And for those of you scared of spiders...a whole field of spidery homes only coming to fore in the light of day. Amazing to think of all that hard work spiders do to create their webs.
Last but not least, a fellow walker or rather hopper running ahead of me. At the moment there are plenty of rabbits and hares about, and I hope that they are fast enough to elude any and all traps set for them by man or nature.
