The snowflakes keep on falling.
The first chance I had to take some photos this morning. Walking was rather treacherous but invigorating. Nothing nicer than to feel the coolness of snowflakes melting on one's cheek not to mention the lovely solitude it evokes, being one with the elements and self.
Suddenly the effort of these orange wooden stakes make sense. They get put next to the main roads as winter starts and get removed after. It marks the edge of a road, and the end of a curve...
My way home fraught with potential hazards. Walking on newly fallen snow is fine unless there happens to be a frozen patch of moisture underneath. Walking morphs into skating.
The green information boards provide a nice touch of colour in an otherwise monotone morning.
My favourite bench at the pond seems a tad bit too cold today!
The snow kept on falling for most of the morning and covered rooftops, meadows and roads reminding us that winter is winter after all.
