A Cold Start To Most Mornings Recently.

 Nature, our first temperature gauge...

Some rare apples defying winter and staying put or rather up. As these are too publicly placed, all I can do most mornings is to admire them when instead I just want to devour them...

The lovely red of the local hibiscus shrubs look elegant with their covering of snow and ice. Really nice...

See, one doesn't need a thermometer to see that it is below freezing. What a stunning morning to go for a walk. Air icy, road dry and nature stunning.

A lone sprig of leaves daring the cold to come and get it...

Yellow frozen apples lending some colour to an otherwise quite dreary landscape. Mind you, the white dusting of snow lends a bit of magic even though it portends colder temperatures ahead.

Who needs a thermometer when nature shows us the way....
