A Friday That Started Off With A Batch Of Rain.

A fabulous start to the weekend.

What better way to start the weekend than on a bout of rain. Not that it was a lot of it but still, enough to make one stay inside. Rain, books, blanket and a nice cup of coffee...nothing better!

As per usual the boy needed to be walked before sunrise although for some reason he delayed this outing possibly knowing that it was drizzling outside. Surprisingly he actually didn't balk at walking once he was outside which was a pleasant surprise. Once he was done I still put on his cute little sweater as I didn't want him to catch a cold. Very manly!!! 

What with watching so many Medical Detectives every night my mind seems to be on the hunt for nefarious behaviour and oddness. Well, most mornings when I take Maxi out first thing, I notice open windows or lights being on at the B&B next door. Easily identified, as the guest rooms are on the first floor and look over the parking area. When there are cars, windows are often open and snoring audible.

Well, this morning there wasn't a car at all but the light was on in the guest room. Got to say, that this made me ponder for the whole walk and one of the conclusion I came up with, was that they forgot to switch off the light after cleaning the room...or a lonely cyclist was  sleeping there or a spousal tiff made one half sleep upstairs. Clearly watching so many Medical Detectives might not be the best thing for me...

Darn, the sun seems to be peeping out behind the clouds possibly changing the course of our lazy weekend. Books might be replaced by gardening stuff, but who am I kidding? Weekends regardless of weather lend themselves perfectly for delving into the pages of someone else's adventure, life or romance. What would we do without books?
