The last of the early morning sunshine.
It often is the least significant bits that turn out to be stunning. This troupe of mauve beauties are hanging out casually next to our main road, ignored by many. Aren't they pretty as a picture? Our village has turned mauve it seems. A Kellerstock provides a great foil for it. Strong, magnetic and powerful. A bunch of purple flowers spreading their cheer. A window, a flower patch and a shadow play on the wall make a nice collage for the soul. Not quite mauve. A velvety shrub in off white or rather pink colours makes one want to run one's hand over it. Closer to mauve, a watered down version of it. Pretty in pink I think. All these photos were taken this morning before the great deluge of rain arrived at ten o'clock.Biggi
