After the rain the flowers sparkle.
The clear and clean image of a bunch of chamomilla flowers also known as daisies, is a staple on our fields and meadows. A red poppy gallantly whipping with the wind and thereby evoking a feeling of nostalgia and romance...not that Bob ever brought me a bunch of poppies! The red clover is out and about between many a row of vines and it makes me wonder if this isn't what makes our Blaufränkisch so delightfully tasty? This morning I discovered a whole field of daisies bobbing in the wind high above Deutsch Schützen. What a beautiful field almost waiting for any of us to sit in it with a book in hand...or an easel at one's side. Daisy clusters abound in our area and driving in ' daisy-season ' is fantastic and more soothing than a cup of chamomile tea.Biggi
