Make Today A " YOU " Day.

You know, do only the things you want to do !

Today is a Sunday, but if you read this on any other day...maybe take the day off ?

So, make this your day and:

  • Stay in bed as long as you like...
  • Eat whatever you feel like...
  • Read a novel, even a trashy one...
  • Banish all feelings of guilt, you know those ones that always tends to hover all around us...
  • Stay in your P.J.'s all day, although you could move from the bed to the sofa...
  • Phone your best friend and chit chat for hours...
  • Okay, for this next one you'll have to get dressed: Drive to a supermarket or tea room and stock up on your " feel good " foods. I am pretty sure that I don't have to give you any hints on what to buy !
  • Spend hours doing your favourite hobby: Gardening / knitting / baking...
  • Watch a few Romantic Comedies on T.V...
  • Play those action-games on your computer ( this one is mainly for the men ).

Oh, I'm sure there are a lot more things on your list. Sometimes we need to take a day off from our normal way of life, in order to recharge our batteries.

Most of the times we are so focused on our treadmill of " busy-ness ", that a day off it can give us an important reminder: Simple = ample !
